Community Care Chemist is a mutual, not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, which has been serving the Geelong community since 1898. As a not-for-profit, any surplus funds must be reinvested back into our business enabling us to better serve our members and local community.
To ensure that our members’ income remains income tax exempt, our members are required to contribute to the common fund. The membership fee satisfies this requirement.
Through this contribution you ensure that the surplus funds generated by our business are able to be reinvested back into our business and our wider, Geelong community.
To benefit from the Health Rewards Member Program, you must be a member of Community Care Chemist.
Community Care Chemist runs the Healthy Rewards Member Program (Healthy Rewards Program) in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below.
By joining the Community Care Chemist Healthy Rewards Member Program you agree to be bound by Community Care Chemist’s Constitution, these Healthy Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (Rewards Terms) and by any variations to them.
By agreeing to be bound by the constitution of the society, you understand that a guarantee of $0.50 applies to this membership. A copy of the constitution is available on request by emailing us at: enquiries@communitycarechemist.com.au
These Rewards Terms may be modified at any time without prior notification by Community Care Chemist in its absolute discretion. Despite anything to the contrary contained in this document, any modifications to the Rewards Terms may be applicable to a member retrospectively.
You may join the Healthy Rewards Program by signing up in a Community Care Chemist store or on the Community Care Chemist website. If you wish to benefit from the Healthy Rewards Program benefits, you need to activate your membership by paying your $1 membership fee.
Current active members of Community Care Chemist as of 5th November 2025 are automatically signed up to Healthy Rewards (active members have shopped in store in the past 5 years)

It is the responsibility of the member to update their membership profile when their contact details change including but not limited to email address, phone number and mailing address.

You may terminate your Membership of Community Care Chemist Member Program at any time and without reason by doing any of the following:
Community Care Chemist may, acting reasonably, terminate or suspend your membership at any time if they believe that you have engaged in inappropriate conduct.
Community Care Chemist may, acting reasonably, terminate or suspend your Healthy Rewards Program membership at any time if they believe that you have engaged in inappropriate conduct.
Community Care Chemist reserves the right at any time without notice and in its absolute discretion to suspend, vary or terminate the Community Care Chemist Healthy Rewards Member Program and associated terms and conditions.
Community Care Chemist accepts no liability for any loss or damage associated with suspensions, variations, or terminations arising from the Community Care Chemist Healthy Rewards Member Program, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
A Healthy Rewards membership will be deemed by Community Care Chemist to be inactive after 5 years of dormant points activity on your account, at which time we will contact you to pause your membership with the Healthy Rewards program.

If you cannot provide proof of your membership to the Community Care Chemist Healthy Rewards Member Program by quoting your name, email or telephone number at the time of making a purchase, Community Care Chemist is not obliged to credit the value of your purchase towards your accumulated Healthy Rewards points.
Healthy Rewards points will expire three years after date at which they were credited to a member’s account.
Points credits will be distributed in-store via our point of sale system as determined by Community Care Chemist. It is the responsibility of the member to note the validity and expiry dates of any points. Expired points will not be re-issued, and any value of these points will be forfeited.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Community Care Chemist Healthy Rewards Member Program in general.
All competitions and other offers within the Healthy Rewards Program may be subject to a separate set of terms and conditions, which will apply to you if you decide to participate in the said competition or offer.
^The $10 welcome reward is valid for use for in store purchases for 3 months from date of issue. Excludes prescription products, professional services or products and/or services which Community Care Chemist sells or provides on behalf of charity organisations.. Minimum purchase spend of $10 must be reached to redeem your $10 welcome reward.
*Healthy Rewards Shopping Points Exclusions

Reward points are valid for 12 months from date of issue and cannot be used for prescription products, professional services purchases or for products or services Community Care Chemist sells or provides on behalf of charity organisations.
Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward Terms & Conditions
Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward will only be issued to members who are deemed activated members at the time of issue. Healthy Rewards vouchers are not applicable to employees of Community Care Chemist.
Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward are available in-store as determined by Community Care Chemist.
It is the responsibility of the member to note the validity and expiry dates of any rewards accumulated. Expired points will not be re-issued, and any value of these points will be forfeited.
The value of the Welcome Reward may be varied at our discretion. Community Care Chemist reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude certain items and promotions from being redeemed using $10 Welcome Reward.
You may redeem your Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward:
(a) in any Community Care Chemist store;
(b) within 3 months only from the date it was issued; and
(c) against the current selling price of full price and sale product.
You may not redeem your Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward:
(a) to purchase prescription products or professional services or products and/or services which Community Care Chemist sells or provides on behalf of charity organisations.
(b) in conjunction with any other offer or promotional voucher.
(c) on a prior purchase.
Your Healthy Rewards $10 Welcome Reward must be redeemed in full in a single transaction during its Redemption Period and no cash or credit may be issued for the balance of your $10 Welcome Reward if you have not redeemed it in full.
Your $10 Welcome Reward is for your exclusive use only and is non-transferrable. Its value will not be replaced if it is stolen, lost or not received.
