Community Care Chemist was proud to partner with Barwon Health and Run4Geelong on the Community Cup this year.
The Community Cup, powered by Community Care Chemist was a new fun, team-based challenge for schools, sporting clubs, and community groups across Greater Geelong participating in Run 4 Geelong. The team with the highest number of registrations in Run 4 Geelong would win $5000 to support wellbeing initiatives at their organisation.
We were so pleased to present the Geelong Falcons with the $5000 prize cheque at Run4Geelong on Sunday 9th November. The Falcons used Run4Geelong to kick off their pre-season with a bang and had a massive 187 people register to be part of their team!
The Falcons will be using their $5000 to support equipment purchases for grassroots community footy clubs who are an essential feeder into the Falcons team, a really great way to spread their winnings across Geelong!
Team Community Care Chemist also participated in the 5KM and 10KM race events on the day, and it was a great opportunity for team members from our pharmacies across Geelong to connect and support Barwon Health and this important Geelong event.
