Tackling the diabetes epidemic with education

With one person diagnosed every five minutes, diabetes is one of the biggest challenges confronting Australia’s health system.

At Community Care Chemist our goal is to assist and support people living with diabetes, as well as educating people about the warning signs and what to look for – as many people are not even aware they have it.

During July, August and September, we’re  offering a series of free health eating education seminars and diabetes screenings to help members and customers live their healthiest lives.

We’ve teamed up with Mel Bald, aka, The Passionate Nutritionist, to offer these potentially life-changing events.

Mel is a qualified nutritionist, with a background in clinical nutrition, corporate health and sports management. She thoroughly enjoys educating others with practical tips on how to fuel the body.
